What is Kanopy?
Kanopy is a video streaming service with over 30,000 high quality films.
It is a free service provided by your public library. This service is only available to residents of Swisher, Shueyville and rural Johnson County.
Is there a limit to the number of films I can watch?
Card holders at the Swisher Community Library have 7 free movies (seven credits) to use each month. But Kanopy Kids and The Great Courses are credit free!
Where I watch?
You can watch anywhere you stream content. Your laptop, desktop, tablet, phone or Smart TV. Just check your app store for the free kanopy app, download and go.
What is my Library Card Number?
Your Library Card Number is the same number you use to log into
Libby/Bridges. If you don't know your number or need a library card, call the Library at 857-4090 or stop in and we'll get you a card in no time.
How do I get to Kanopy Kids?
On the Kanopy website, click the Go to Kanopy Kids link in the upper right hand corner next to your name.
