Serving Jefferson and Monroe Townships
Situated in the heart of downtown Swisher, the Swisher Community Library is a growing, vibrant addition to to this small town. With a collection of over 2000 books, videos, and CDs available to all residents of the Jefferson-Monroe Townships -- including Swisher and neighboring Shueyville -- comfortable reading and meeting areas, and three computers dedicated to Internet access, the Swisher Community Library is wonderful place to relax, unwind, and get lost in a book.
We invite you to browse our collection during our newly expanded hours: Monday through Thursday, 4 pm to 8 pm; and Saturdays from 10 am to noon.
Our knowledgeable staff can help answer any questions you might have, and our many friendly volunteers aim to make your visit a fun and memorable experience.
Visit us on 2nd Street in downtown Swisher, right next to City Hall.
